State of the University Address
The State of the University Address is an annual event at which the president of Western Governors University (WGU) outlines the progress and achievements of the university over the past year. This year’s address was delivered by WGU President Scott D. Pulsipher on October 17, 2019.
In his address, President Pulsipher spoke about WGU’s continued growth and expansion, as well as the university’s commitment to providing quality, affordable education. He also announced several new initiatives, including a partnership with Google Cloud to provide students with access to cutting-edge technology and a new center for excellence in healthcare education.
President Pulsipher closed his address by reaffirming WGU’s dedication to its students and their success. “At WGU, we are constantly striving to improve our programs and services so that our students can realize their full potential,” he said. “We are committed to providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today’s ever-changing world.”
